Well this style I inherited from My Mentor and Guru......Mr.Srikar Sir, a dedicated man with a few words......
It was done with pencil and then ink pen........I call this style as "distorting reality" or "mockery of reality".........
Once u start playing one can just go on and on........
Its a part of the whole painting.........
I just played with colours in the background........in photoshop........just loved it........:D

Wonderful distortions going on here Jibesh. I like how you presented two versions here as well. It illustrates just how much color can alter the mood of a piece. This is very sculptural too--I can see this in three dimensional form as well!
